Road & Track Repair Process

PSM Plant and Agricultural Services specialise in track
renovation, repair and new build of access roads and
tracks such as farm tracks.

The work carried out can range from a simple
maintenance, through to surface scarifying or deeper
ripping and crushing before rebuilding the road.

1. Excavating

PSM can offer Excavators if required to removing verges and putting in water channels. We also can create a new track.

New stone can be added if needed….

One of the first stages of track renovation is to ripper up the track.

Next we can crush the track with one of crusher. PSM have two crushers available for different road types.

We have the kit to add water to the track if needed before compacting the track down. This helps to create a hard and solid track.

We next grade, level and put a camber on to the track which will help to drain any standing water off the track to stop potholes forming.

Re-compaction using vibrating plates and heavy vibrating rollers.
